After that the touchpad became responsive but kinda funny and I was able to successfully install the Smart Gesture driver! I have to uninstall it or rolled back driver from Device Manager-Asus Touchpad in order to make my touchpad and keyboard work again. . Windows 10 was running on it for several months, but from one day to the other… No touchpad. For three fingers, however, it did not. I have found the settings and there is no way to address those kinds of controls. When I click on the Smart Gesture all of the options are unchecked.

Eventually, i gave up and decided to live with a mouse since i needed my laptop all the time, and two weeks into service was something that i could not afford I once installed razer cortex in order to boost my peerformance. Because I think it was an update on the Elan driver that fucked everything up. I really dislike Microsoft telling me that I have to use the pad and not my mouse. . I can use the mouse with an external mouse, but not the touch pad. Please help me control this touch pad that seems to have a mind of its own.

There doesn't seem to be any adjustment for sensitivity in it, only buttons to turn on or off certain features. I tried to use the Microsoft Fix it tool to no avail. I installed this driver and all went back to normal.
