Yeah, sound is crap and video is running really slow. It is loading but it doesn't want to go its expected speed. It is definitely not locked as I've done this before; just need to remember how. RetroArch is already at the tip of the spear when it comes to latency mitigation strategies with features like runahead, configurable max swapchains, frame delay, custom video context drivers, etc.
Analog triggers now work as expected. The water in Tomb Raider 2 for instance can initially appear flat shaded until you take a savestate. You see im not looking for better grapics or resolution. Loading it directly from RetroArch is working flawlessly. Wife is off work now so I can't play anymore; we have a few Game of Thrones episodes to catch up on. That I know, but the Nvidia control panel is no where to be found right now. To use it: Make sure the 'video driver' is set to 'vulkan'. At least that was the case the last time I played PlayStation games via RetroArch. Thanks for replying and approving my comment :. I always had issues with upscaling plugins back in the day as I always had to accept blocky and ugly 2D in order to get crisp 3D. Dithering was previously ignored by the Vulkan renderer and was always turned off, no matter what you configured. In other words the game is realy slow. Your changes should take effect now.
Useful for our Japanese users. This is occurring only after applying the tweaks. It also can tend to look bit more coherent with mixed 2D and 3D in cases where adaptive smoothing fails. I did try 32X but that just instantly crashes Retroarch when i load a game on my system, so i dropped it to 16X and that is just fine. Just paid for a lifetime sub to BigBox. It apears some of my psx games gets slow and the muisc gets horible.
I hadn't played any games on this pc yet, was just getting everything setup; so I didn't even think about refresh rate being an issue. I'm keeping the settings for psx at 16x on the resolution, pretty sure the 6500 and 1050ti can handle it no? I dot even run a video card. Fastboot was removed from stand alone Mednafen because it caused issues with at least one game, so that might not come back. There are still several texture updating problems.

I've set it up several times on different machines but I can't figure this one out. Whenever I load any game it brings up the game window and I can see the frames going up, but I get no audio or video.
