The Tom Cat is an analogue drum machine, sequencer, and controller. I just got off the phone with a young gentleman named Brian Tadel sp? Our Stupid Deal of the Day is a daily offer that we post on our site. There are just to many people in the world.
And of course a huge selection. I'm sorry that you missed out on the deal, but with our stupid deal of the day items, they're first come first serve with limited quantities on hand. It arrived with ripped, damaged packing, broken and missing equipment. They both arrived the same day. I called to find out what happened and I was told it will arrive on Nov.
It shouldn't be so inconvenient to return an item. But I don't remember using external compression or eq. I wonder what would've happened if it were a more expensive item. Pricing and quantity available are accurate at the time we send this email. A week ago I ordered a guitar and it came to my address in Florida.
The point of this thread is that occasionally they have killer deals and to pass on that information. Personal attacks, insults, and bad faith criticism of other posters' equipment or music will not be tolerated. This is after my points from another purchase expired a few years back. Plus 6% state tax, but still, best I've seen short of this stupid deal anyway. Don't trust their back order time lines. Brett, my last 2 experiences were terrible.
So I reordered the same blemished guitar and received it with a cracked neck. I will never use them again. I think the Rhythm Wolf burned alot of people and made them refuse to trust Akai again. Has anyone else experienced this? This has actually already been on my list; that is, figure out how to do more musical step sequencing.
